Overview of Departments

Bookkeeping
Lombard, IL 

The Bookkeeping department is responsible for data entry and for the balancing and reconciliation of all General Ledger accounts at West Suburban Bank.  Additionally, this department handles Cash Balancing, ATM Balancing, and transaction dispute resolution.

Call Center
Lombard, IL

The Call Center is responsible for answering customer inquiries, cross-selling bank products and services, and providing online banking/bill payment assistance.  This department is also responsible for routing calls to the appropriate parties throughout the Bank.

Collections
Aurora, IL 

The Collections department is responsible for contacting customers regarding late payments and working with them to make payment arrangements to bring accounts current and mitigate losses for the bank. 

Compliance
Lombard, IL

The Compliance department is responsible for the compliance monitoring of all West Suburban Bank branches and departments.  This includes performing compliance audits, communicating new laws and regulations to the affected parties, and working with state and federal examiners.

Comptroller
Downers Grove, IL

The Comptroller’s department consists of multiple Accounting, Financial Analyst, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and Administrative/Clerical staff.  The primary role of the department is to compile and maintain the financial statements for West Suburban Bancorp.  

Cash Management
Lombard, IL
The Cash Management department works closely with Commercial Loan Officers in offering products such as Remote Deposit Capture, Lockbox, Online Banking, ACH Origination Services, and Positive Pay and more.  This group provides relationship management and implementation support to business clients.

Commercial Lending
Lombard, IL - with satellite locations in Bloomingdale, Naperville, St. Charles & Wheaton
The Commercial Lending department includes Commercial Loan Officers, Loan Review, and Loan Operations staff.  This department is responsible for managing and building commercial client relationships, performing risk analysis for new loan requests, and centralized document preparation, administrative support, and pre and post-closing assistance to commercial clients.

Consumer Lending
Darien, IL

The Consumer Lending department consists of Loan Officers and Loan Operations/ Processing Staff that work with customers to provide Home Equity, Auto, Smart Line of Credit, and Student Loans. 

Electronic Services
Lombard, IL

The Electronic Services department includes Wire Transfer and Money Desk Administration.  This department is responsible for the accurate and timely transfer of funds between financial institutions and for the daily purchase/sale of federal funds.

Facilities Maintenance
Downers Grove, IL

The Facilities Maintenance department includes maintenance personnel that service all West Suburban Bank locations in building repairs and maintenance.  This department also includes staff responsible for planning, design, and development of new offices; remodeling of existing offices; and maintaining equipment contracts.

Financial Services
Lombard, IL

The Financial Services department consists of licensed financial professionals who provide professional recommendations to help customers meet their investment objectives through a variety of products, such as Mutual Funds, College Funding, Insurance, and Retirement Investments.

Human Resources
Aurora, IL
The Human Resources department supports the employees and management of West Suburban Bank by administering the compensation and benefits plan, training and development, hiring and promotions, and employee relations.  

Information Services
Lombard, IL

The Information Services department consists of Computer Operator, PC/Network Technician, Network Administrator, Business Analyst, and Project Management staff.  The primary function of the IS department is to design, implement, and maintain technology related to networking, network security, computer hardware and software.  

Insurance Services
Lombard, IL  
The Insurance department includes Licensed Insurance providers that service all West Suburban Bank locations, and offer insurance products such as:  Home / Renters, Automobile, Term Life, Major Medical (short or long term), and Medicare Part D.

Internal Audit
Lombard, IL
The Internal Audit department works directly with bank branches and departments to ensure compliance with external government regulations as well as internal department-specific policies and procedures.  This department includes both Audit and Clerical/Administrative staff.

Item Processing & Sorter Operations
Lombard, IL 

The Item Processing & Sorter Operations departments receive, process, and encode thousands of checks, debits and credits, and lockbox payments for business accounts every day.

Land Trust Services
Lombard, IL
West Suburban Bank’s Land Trust department provides estate planning to reduce or eliminate expenses and taxes including estate taxes, inheritance taxes, court costs and attorney fees.

Loan Servicing
Aurora, IL
The Loan Servicing department provides customer service and general administrative support to all Consumer and Mortgage loan customers.  This includes payoff processing, release of collateral, escrow analysis, etc. 

Loss Prevention
Lombard, IL

The Loss Prevention department consists of Investigative, Electronic Fraud, Clerical, and Administrative support staff that works together to create and monitor Loss Prevention Programs to identify and prevent internal and external losses. 

Mailroom Operations
Lombard, IL

The Mailroom Operations department is responsible for the sorting and distribution of incoming and outgoing packages to all West Suburban Bank departments and branch offices. 

Marketing
Bloomingdale, IL

The Marketing department creates a variety of advertising campaigns including print, radio, television, promotional gifts, and more.  Marketing also creates and distributes brochures, visual displays, graphics, mailings, and other materials used to promote West Suburban Bank to the community.
 
Mortgage Lending
Aurora, IL
The Mortgage Lending department services all West Suburban Bank locations and provides customers with exceptional products and services for the mortgage industry.  The Mortgage department includes Loan Originators, Underwriting, and Processing staff that support customers throughout the purchase and refinance process.   

Prepaid Solutions
Oakbrook Terrace & Warrenville, IL
The Prepaid Solutions department consists of Business Development, Business Analyst, Project Management, Client Support, Implementation, and support staff that work together to offer unique standard and custom Visa-based products.  Such products include gift cards, product rebate cards, corporate spending cards, payroll cards, and much more. 

Retail Banking
35 Branches located throughout the western suburbs of Chicago

Retail Banking consists of Teller, Senior Teller, Teller Line Supervisor, Personal Banking, and Management-level staff that work together to provide exceptional service to our customers. This department is responsible for building solid customer relationships and recommending bank products and services that suit a variety of needs. 

Visa
Lombard, IL
The Visa department processes Visa credit card applications, provides customer service via telephone, and resolves transaction disputes.
